Two Hours Later ...

I took the cradle in at 10:30 this morning and Kelly called at 1 to tell me it had sold!

It was priced right -- better to have them fly off the shelves than gather dust. You can gradually raise your prices, but it's hard to lower them without looking desperate.

It is a lovely cradle & the new owners are, I bet, thrilled -- and passing the word about your work. You've made a life-long customer, not just a sale.

I know you are right but it would have been nice for at least a few people to have seen the best piece I've done so far!

Erin ... I considered going to your place to show you the cradle on my way to the shop ... I wish I had!

Leslie Dickson (young and local) bought it for her daughter. Maybe you know her.

Come today, tomorrow or Friday for tea ... I will be painting madly ... two projects underway ... and would love a break for tea. There is also the Linguistic potluck on Friday that I hope to attend if you'd like to join me.
