Were you firm with Havoc's mom? Did she pay for the food and extra time...did you make her pay for Tom Strike's glove?
I don't know if you can ask her to pay for the glove. That's like a babysitter demanding you reimburse her for the dollar your baby ate while she was looking after him. But she should definitely pay for the extra time and food, absolutely. And she should be told about the inconvenience she caused you and your plow guy, so she doesn't do it again.
I was good ... nervous ... but good.
I charged her for the two days of pre-Havoc plus the 11 days of Havoc plus the food ... and then took off $15 because she arrived by 1 rather than in the afternoon and gave her 2 cups of Kenya food to ease Havoc back onto his own food.
No about the glove ... I guess my sympathies were with the dog in that case.
By the way, I miss him!
