On April 1 the lake was beautiful with water pooling over the ice surface creating a silvery map.
On April 2 I took my camera on my walk and captured the ugliness of towering snowbanks, and mud puddles that swallowed the road.
I also took a photo of my own side of the lake which reveals a pristine white snow covered lake surface and a land of snow and ice. My private road is treacherous with glare ice. No mud puddles here.
I will upload these images separately.
